With extensive experience in the global rail industry, Ken is a leader, C Suite experienced business manager, entrepreneur, and consultancy professional with extensive experience of delivery across complex infrastructure, including all modes of rail systems, general rail infrastructure, and major linier project environments. This has been for Governments, Client Organisations, general consultancy Construction Operation and maintenance and has business experience from Multi-National companies to the founding and development of SME’s.
Has exceptional experience of multi–discipline project development and major project delivery in the complex infrastructure sectors of the rail and transport sector of the UK and Europe, Asia, Australasia, Southern Africa, North and South America and the Middle East. He has led in design consultancy, PMO and project delivery organisations, and has led businesses interfacing with governments, public and private clients around the world. Understands the imperative for design for construction, availability, operability, maintainability and for safety, sustainability, and inclusivity.
His experience is over the whole project environment and full lifecycle from concept to testing, commissioning, entry into service and operation. He has provided services to a wide and varied client base including Local and National Governments, Investors and other 3rd Party Stakeholders, Lawyers, Banks and IFI’s, Operators, Contractors and Manufacturers, Franchisees and Maintenance Organisations, with an ability to connect and communicate with stakeholders in all these sectors.
His roles include business and project leadership, change management, M&A, business development and strategy head of consultancy, independent advisor and project review, programme management, major project management, project turnaround, project director and design manager
