Signalling Engineer/Engineering Manger
Chris is an experienced Signalling Engineer who has progressed to perform across multiple rail disciplines as Engineering Manager.
A Signalling design CRE and qualified in Signal Works Testing, modules five and three(C), Chris also has a wide range of Testing experience. This experience bolstered an apprenticeship in Signalling Faults and Maintenance combined to give Chris an excellent understanding of the built railway environment. As Design Manager Chris has delivered small, medium, and large projects. Chris has experience of working on a wide range of signalling and multi-disciplinary projects across all the design phases.

Railway Operations
Worked in operational planning and completed Modern Apprenticeship in S&T Faulting and Maintenance in three and a half years at Yoker IECC.
Change, Projects & Engineering Management
Delivered small packages of design as designer under mentorship, performed the role of Design Manager and Signalling CRE on varying sizes of Projects including S&C Renewals and Cadder HST Depot.
Delivered successful bids as Signalling CRE/Design Manager on variety of types of works including Track Circuit conversiosn, S&C Renewals, larger re-signalling schemes.
Managed change within role as Signalling CRE on numerous S&C Renewals of varying sizes including enhancements.
Safety & Assurance
SORAT Assessor. Performed SORAT Assessments for Cambridge South Station and various S& C Renewals
Training & Development
Carried out extensive training and mentoring of trainee Signalling Designers. Developed a training plan for trainee signalling designers.
