I have a track record of leading successful teams in both Rail Maintenance and Change Management activities. I have a flexible approach with the ability to work professionally at all business levels from front line engineers through to senior management, providing both advice and guidance. Infrastructure Maintenance Manager for Network rail leading the West Midlands & Chilterns Area. Responsible for all aspects of delivering a safe, reliable and high performing railway. Client role for Maintenance on project work. Supported Operational interface with Projects and Train Operators.

Formulated and applied the Assessment Criteria for the Signalling Maintenance Managers IRSE Licence within GTRM.
Operations Manager for Amey West Midlands Contract Area providing Business lead across maintenance and project engineering on the contract area.
Safety & Assurance
Supported successful Safety Authorisation submission to ORR for new Infrastructure Manager.
Established CSM- RA compliant arrangements to support Significant Asset Transfer to new Infrastructure Manager
Led CSM-RA compliant Hazard ID and Management arrangements for successful significant change in major project Principal Contractor
Head of Safety and Compliance for Network Rail Maintenance, working alongside corporate safety team, taking the lead on matters relating to the maintenance workforce and associated activity.
Lead interface with ORR for Network Operations Directorate.
Provided Audit and assurance for the function covering Health Safety and Environmental aspects of Assurance arrangements. Undertook reporting and analysis of Safety and compliance data for corporate use.
Training & Development
Involved in the development of new training material relating to the planned introduction of Planning and Delivering Safe Work on Network Rail Infrastructure. Acted as SME and provided sign off for applied criteria for classroom training and e-learning packages.
Involved with the development of the NR Apprentice program, providing the lead for Maintenance function.
Reviewed supplier tenders and selection for the provision of Supervisor and Team Leader Practical Leadership courses.
ORR Liaison receiving Infrastructure manager for Asset transfer from NR.
Produced documentation to support mobilisation activity relating to Standards Management, Maintenance and assurance for infrastructure transfer.
HR Lead for Major reorganisation and downsizing of Network Rail Maintenance Function. Provided control criteria for the early voluntary release of staff that ensured business continuity whilst removing reliance on compulsory redundancy to achieve savings.
Program Lead for HR, Validation, Consultation and Training for the introduction of Planning and Delivering Safe Work. National and local consultation concluded and over 19,000 individuals trained in 12 months.
