Having shared our ongoing journey towards ISO 9001 quality certification with you via the blog section of our website, I’m delighted to announce that following a series of audits (including ones in June and most recently, last month/September), AARC Professional Services has now been recommended for the ISO 9001 quality standard by awarding body BSI.
But why the need for this certification in the first place? As an organisation committed to delivering outstanding outcomes, I and my colleagues/associates felt it essential that we could collectively demonstrate our understanding of what good quality management systems look like, sharing this best practice with our clients, hence our drive towards this internationally recognised standard.
With our Transport Operations and HSQE Specialist Liz Parkes leading the ISO 9001 workstream for us since the beginning of the year, we are now able to actively demonstrate how we keep the wheels of continuous improvement turning, whilst working hard to embed quality into everything that we do. This in turn helps us to not only meet but exceed expectations and is a further demonstration of our professional credentials and commitment to delivering the highest standards possible for our clients.
In addition, we also enjoy working with all of our stakeholders to encourage innovation and a strong safety culture, not only within our own business, but across the various services that we provide, which have recently been expanded to include a dedicated section on Rail Infrastructure – https://www.aarcps.co.uk/rail-infrastructure/ (read more about this in our next blog.) In direct support of this, our journey towards ISO certification has certainly been the right thing to do and the right time to do it.
